The Acre
The Acre, or Bully's Acre, is a small neighborhood between Riverside and Riverside Park. This mostly residential neighborhood is located on the banks of the Delaware River and bounded by the train tracks on the east side. It was a predominantly Irish neighborhood in the 19th century. It was also home to Kirk's Grove (John Kirk's picnic grove) on the Delaware River.
Pike Street in the Acre is home to Woogie's Deli and Slice, which is also home to Dr. Bagel. At the south end of the neighborhood is Riverside Park.
