The restaurant at the historic Erie Hotel serves seafood, burgers, steaks, pasta and many other offerings in a relaxed setting.  Sit in a booth in the main dining room, which is adorned with old photographs of the city and railroad lanterns.  Get a drink at the bar and admire the craftsmanship of the late 19th-century bar back.  When the weather is nice, be sure to get a bite to eat at the Erie's Tiki Bar.  Check out their website for more information.

The Fox N Hare is a brewery and restaurant on Front Street downtown.  Owners, Sean Donnelly and David Krantz, opened the brewery in 2018.  The building was originally a bottling plant in the 1880's.  They offer burgers, sandwiches, salads and sharable plates.  Try a 4 ounce filet of smoked Salmon, from Samaki Smoked Fish on Jersey Avenue in Port Jervis, served with a side of Fox N Hare's delicious housemade Buffalo Brussel Sprouts.  Order from their selection of about a dozen beers or try one of their cocktails.  Check out their website for more information.

Ice cream has been a part of the Riverside neighborhood since 1879.  John Kirk originally began serving it at Kirk's Grove, depicted in this mural at Riverside Creamery.  The soda fountain, the mural and much of the interior are original to the 1950's ice cream parlor.  Order one of their delicious ice creams or original desserts and enjoy it at an outdoor table overlooking the Delaware River.
